novel excerpts ~ short stories ~ creative non-fiction

We will be meeting via Zoom one night a week for four weeks to examine workshop participant’s short stories, novel excerpts, creative non-fiction, and genre writing. The aim of the workshop is to help participants expand their literary vocabulary in the craft of writing and the art of storytelling. The workshop environment will be supportive with the accent on helping members individualize their own creative visions. Attendees will receive workshop critiques and shared notes from members, written assessments and one follow-up discussion with myself to synthesize the workshop experience into next action steps for further drafts. Craft lectures, writing assignments, and preparing one’s work for publication will also be discussed.
